KATHERINE MOLDAVE is American Lyric Theater’s Board of Trustees secretary. She held management positions at Merck AgVet and Merck’s joint venture Merial and cofounded the prominent animal health consultancy and veterinary clinical contract research organization AlcheraBio (now part of Argenta Global, the world's only "molecule to market" animal health company). She coached companies presenting at the KC Animal Health Corridor Investment Forum, served on the scientific advisory board of the Alliance for Contraception in Cats and Dogs, and has been a mentor for Curious Science Writers, which trains and publishes work by high schoolers who want to write about science. Katherine is Friends of the Mountainside NJ Public Library membership chair and supports a variety of non-profit organizations. She has an undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson. She plays the piano – not as well as her dad – and has been an opera devotee since childhood. When her grandfather was five years old, he served a beer to Brahms at a summer resort outside of Vienna.
