In this iteration of the Bible story, Adam and Eve meet in a mental hospital where they play out, in their distorted but deeply human fashion, the age-old story of mutual attraction. The two are aided in their struggle to understand their desire for — and fear of — sexual knowledge by a benevolent Satan in the person of the ward psychiatrist, Doctor Solomon.
